Starting January 1, 2026, all Bronze and Catastrophic plans for people buying their own insurance through Pennie can now also independently open a Health Savings Account (HSA). This applies even if they are not considered High-Deductible Health Plans.
Use the “plan features” “HSA Qualified” filter when shopping for plans to see plans that qualify for an HSA.
