An individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement or ICHRA is a type of health reimbursement arrangement that can be offered in place of traditional health insurance by employers of any size. The amount the employer contributes toward the ICHRA annually can vary. There are not set limits on employer contributions. If you accept the ICHRA you will then be able to use the funds provided by the employer to get reimbursed for paid medical expenses including marketplace premiums during the applicable ICHRA coverage dates.
