Your life might change over the coming year. For example, you might get married, have a child, or your income might change.
If information from your application changes during the year, including changes as a result of the pandemic, you must go into your Pennie account and ‘report a change’ within 30 days of the event to ensure you are receiving the correct amount of financial assistance. If your household income has changed, update your application immediately. You could qualify for more financial assistance than you're getting now.
Changes may affect your eligibility for:
- Financial assistance to help pay for coverage.
- Cost-sharing reductions that lower your copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles
- Coverage through Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
