If you are a lawfully present immigrant and are not able to enroll through Medical Assistance yet, you may qualify to enroll in coverage through Pennie and enroll under this qualifying life event. To do so, follow these steps below:
- Go to pennie.com, click Get Covered, and submit a new Pennie application.
- If you qualify, a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) will automatically open!
- Once the SEP opens, you will have 60-days to enroll in a plan through Pennie. Once you enroll, coverage will begin the start of the following month.
