If you are currently enrolled in 2020 coverage through Healthcare.gov, the information you provided on your Healthcare.gov application has been transferred to create your new Pennie application. You should have received a notice about this transition, which includes a unique access code that will allow you to create an account in Pennie. After you create your Pennie account, you will be prompted to enter your access code to link your new Pennie account to the information you provided in your 2020 application on Healthcare.gov.
Once you have created your new account on Pennie, you can make any necessary changes to your application, apply, shop, and enroll in the health coverage that is right for you and your family during the 2021 Open Enrollment Period, which goes from November 1, 2020 – January 15, 2021. This is a great time to reevaluate your plan options, but if you can remain enrolled in your current plan, and you don’t want to make changes, you don’t have to!
